Your notch,
finally alive.
A Dynamic Island for the Mac. Hover the camera and black glass blooms open: now playing with artwork, a fisheye calendar, clipboard history, a file shelf with AirDrop, animated weather — and an AI oracle that answers in annealing ember light. The best pixels on your screen, working at last. Every install gets the glance free — media, weather, AI usage; the tools unlock with Lifetime.
Live recreation, not a video — the bloom, the shelf, and the Oracle annealing an answer.
Six surfaces, one piece of glass
The Notch Becomes a Surface
Hover the camera housing and a black-glass island blooms open — media, calendar, clipboard, files, weather, and quick actions, exactly where your eyes already are.
Media, Properly
Now playing with live artwork, transport controls, and a seek bar for Spotify and Apple Music — without hunting for the right app window.
TimeLens Calendar
A fisheye timeline of your week: today magnified hour-by-hour, other days compressed to slabs. Click any meeting for full details — attendees, notes, and a one-click Join.
The Island Oracle
Ask AI from the notch. Answers anneal into the glass — ember-lit words cooling to white — with one follow-up, then gone. No chat window, no history, your own API key.
Island Notifications
FavTray's own alerts — meeting join pills, watched-port kills, CI verdicts, eye-break reminders — land as compact badges under the camera, not popup panels.
Camera Self-Check
A mirrored preview in the island before you join a call. Every camera — built-in, external, iPhone Continuity — and nothing is ever recorded.
Built for these moments
Meeting-heavy days
The island shows a join pill a minute before every call, and the TimeLens click-through has the link, the attendees, and the agenda.

The Dynamic Island is the best interaction idea Apple ever shipped — and Macs with notches do nothing with it. FavShelf fixes that.

The Oracle answers one-off questions — a regex, a command, a definition — without opening a browser or a chat app.

Why is the Dynamic Island Lifetime-only?
The island is FavTray's crown jewel — the surface everything else feeds into. Lifetime (₹2499, pay once) includes every Pro tool forever plus the island's full toolset, its notifications, and the Island Oracle. It is our thank-you to the people who back the app permanently.
Can I try the island for free?
Yes. Every FavTray install — free included — shows the island glance: now-playing media with transport controls, live weather for your saved places, and Claude/Codex usage bars, right under the notch. The tools inside (clipboard history, file shelf, camera check, the TimeLens calendar, and the Oracle) unlock with the Lifetime license.
Does it need a notch?
No. On notch Macs the island wraps the camera housing; on external displays and non-notch Macs it renders as a floating black-glass bar at the top of the screen with the same features.
Does it drain the battery like other notch apps?
No. FavTray's island follows strict performance rules: no perpetual animations, event-driven updates only, and ambient scenes capped at 12fps that exist only while the island is open. When it's closed, it costs nothing.
What powers the Island Oracle?
Your own API key (the same one AI Writer uses — OpenAI-compatible providers). Questions and answers are never stored anywhere; the conversation is discarded the moment the island retracts.
Does it work with Spotify?
Yes — artwork, transport, and seek for Spotify and Apple Music. System-wide now-playing for browsers and other apps is on the roadmap.
Which macOS versions are supported?
macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later, Apple Silicon and Intel. On macOS 26 (Tahoe) the island adopts Liquid Glass materials on external displays.
Pay once. Own the island forever.
Lifetime includes all 13 Pro tools, the Dynamic Island, and every future feature — ₹2499, one Mac, no renewals.
