Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FavTray, a macOS application built by Akash Rajagopal ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using FavTray, you agree to these terms.
License
FavTray is licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on the number of devices specified by your plan:
- Personal — 1 Mac, 6-month term
- Team — up to 3 Macs, 6-month term
- Perpetual — 1 Mac, lifetime updates
Each license is tied to a device identifier. You may deactivate a device and activate a different one at any time within your seat limit.
Free Trial
FavTray includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment information is required to start the trial. After the trial, some features require a paid license.
Payment
All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Payments are processed securely by Stripe. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.
Personal and Team licenses renew automatically every 6 months. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal — your license remains active until the end of the current period.
Perpetual licenses are a one-time payment with no renewal.
Refund Policy
14-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, email hello@favtray.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.
After 14 days, refunds are not available for digital product purchases.
What You May Not Do
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the software
- Circumvent or tamper with the license validation system
- Use the software for any unlawful purpose
- Share your license key publicly
Intellectual Property
FavTray, including its code, design, icons, and content, is the intellectual property of Akash Rajagopal. Your license grants you the right to use the software — not ownership of it.
Disclaimer of Warranties
FavTray is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every macOS configuration.
We make a good-faith effort to maintain and improve the software, but we are a solo developer — not a large corporation with SLAs.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to FavTray is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
Termination
We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. You may stop using FavTray at any time by uninstalling the application and deactivating your license.
Upon termination, your right to use the software ends. Provisions that should survive termination (liability, IP, disclaimers) will continue to apply.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active license holders. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of courts in India.
