Written for FavTray 1.11 (September 2026) and kept as a snapshot. Since then the Island Oracle was removed (1.12.0); Move became Posture, Window Manager became Snap, System Info became System, Port Kill became Ports and Menu Bar Manager became Menu Bar; and AI Writer now runs on your own AI provider. The counts below describe 1.11. In the table, the notch island’s tools, Claude Code approvals and agent sounds need a paid plan even where a row isn’t marked Pro.
How we counted
- One row per thing you can do or see. “Mute while screen sharing” is one. “15 snap layouts” is one — layouts aren’t counted individually.
- Providers count once. AI Usage tracks 23 providers; that’s three rows (Claude, Codex, “21 more”), not 23.
- Settings knobs don’t count. An interval slider isn’t a feature; the reminder it controls is.
- Pro is labelled. Unlabelled rows are free on every install or part of a free tool.

What the list replaces
Nobody needs 179 functions. Which FavTray features are free?
Eye Rest, Port Kill and Menu Bar Manager are free in full; AI Usage, Window Manager and System Info in core form; Hydrate and Move reminders, the side dock and the notch island glance (media, weather, AI bars) are free on every install.
