Safe Paste: paste logs into AI without your keys
This 24-second video shows Safe Paste in FavTray, a Mac menu bar app for developers. Keys and emails become placeholders like [API_KEY_1] before you paste into an AI chat; Restore puts them back. A copied error log holds a Stripe key, an AWS key and an email. In quick paste, Control-Return previews it with the values swapped for [API_KEY_1], [API_KEY_2] and [EMAIL_1] and the home folder written as ~. The chat only gets the placeholders; copying its answer offers Restore, which puts the real values back for 90 seconds, on this Mac only.
