Snap walkthrough: halves, quarters, drag to edge
This 22-second walkthrough follows Snap in FavTray, a Mac menu bar app for developers, one step at a time. Snap windows to halves, quarters and thirds by dragging or with a shortcut. ⌃⌥← and ⌃⌥→ give halves, ⌃⌥U, I, J and K give quarters, and dragging to the top edge opens a picker with halves, quarters, Max and Center. ⌃⌥C centres the window and ⌃⌥⌫ steps back through its earlier positions.
