Stop idle dev servers on Mac, step by step
This 32-second walkthrough follows Ports in FavTray, a Mac menu bar app for developers, one step at a time. Find what is listening, see the project and branch, and stop it in one click. Tiles count what is listening, which are dev servers and which have been idle for 12 hours or more, and project cards group each port under its project. Stop all clears the idle servers at once, a starred port tells you when it is bound or freed, and the port detail has CPU and memory charts, open in browser, editor or Terminal, and copy kill command.
