Keep Alive walkthrough: awake until you say so
This 22-second walkthrough follows Keep Alive in FavTray, a Mac menu bar app for developers, one step at a time. Keep the Mac and your chat status awake, on a schedule you set. Start shows the end time up front, and each action, move, click, scroll or keystroke, says what it would do to the frontmost app. Pressing a key pauses it until you are idle again, and a battery threshold, an office-hours schedule, app exclusions and an activity log round it out.
