Cloud Costs walkthrough: spend by service
This 28-second walkthrough follows Cloud Costs in FavTray, a Mac menu bar app for developers, one step at a time. Connect Google Cloud or AWS billing and read spend by service and by day. Billing is read from ~/.aws/credentials and your gcloud login. Daily bars are stacked by service, such as EC2, RDS and S3, with estimated days dashed, breakdown tables show where it went, and Could save lists recommendations. Budget bars compare spend with each cap, and an AWS cost anomaly shows up in the cockpit.
